The Way I Learn and Improve English:
*Each day I try to put down what comes across my mind in English
*Today I have IP- Banned the person who is always writing something spiteful against me as his comment;
I really do not know who he or she is, but judging from what the person writes to me as his comment, it seems that person must be a male person.
* I happened to meet my ex-lover T from Germany, and even though I tried to speak in German, he insisted on speaking in English, oh yeah his English is superb, but my English has improved a lot since he and I were married three years ago.
We talked about those happy days when we started to live together, first on Santorini, Skiathos, and then in Dobinson, Electric Lady land on Mainland. He was extremely excellent in every field, ranging from SL techniques to reallife economics, politics,philosophy, linguistics, religion, and literature.
Upon mentioning about some German novelists or poets, he was able to show me some of the examples of that poet's poetry in a notecard form, and that surprised me in great measure!
While we were speaking, I referred to that Turkish gentleman who was married in secondlife to an American girl called Britney. After I parted from T, I learned that something was wrong between the Turkish boy and the American girl, and in time they sold all their land parcels in Dobinson, and as a result, I bought most of their land
parcels.
The story I heard from Britney was the saddest story I had ever heard. Britney loved the Turk so much that she wanted to marry him in real life, called him by international phone and that she converted her religion into Mohammedanism,and went to Turkey to find that he had his wife and children. I told her that she could marry him in a Muslim country like Turkey even though he had a wife and his children. But the reality in Turkey is different from other Arabic or Muslim countries where they are allowed to have multiple wives. A Turkish man can possess only one wife even though it is a Muslim country.
When I told about this story he looked surprised and interested as well.
It is nice to look back on your past days and talk about your sweet happy days of your past!
I enjoy speaking as most of any female persons do, whether you speak in Japanese or in English.
I am not translating from Japanese into English, but simply writing down what comes across my mind, yes I am thinking in English, so my English will be so easy to follow and understand as English.
I have learned to further develop my English through communicating with English speaking natives and with non natives, but so far I have been satisfied with what I was able to acquire !
Sometimes I am surprised to learn that what we eat here in Japan are eaten differently from them,such as pumpkins. We in Japan eat pumpkins by boiling them using such seasonings as sugar, soysauce and mirin, but in the United States or in Canada, they eat only as pumpkin pies.
I still don't know who he is that always gives me his spiteful comments as regards my Japanese and English, but I have never seen his authentic、beautiful Japanese or English sentences or words; I have seen only his dirty words
or comments at all so far. Judging from the fact that he does not or cannot value the qualtiy of my smooth natural English, he is not able to evaluate my English in the truest sense of the word.
My beloved ex-lover k used to say that phyllis should ignore any foolish comments from anybody you don't know. And I believe what she has told me is quite valuabe and still cherish her good piece of advice!
